The Family Garden

A landscape redesign focused on a challenging side yard with a steep transition from the driveway to the main yard. The space received very little light, had no irrigation, and was difficult to maintain, making it an underused part of the property. The design explored a low-maintenance landscape suited to the site conditions, along with a patio and gathering space in the connecting corner to give the clients’ soon-to-be teenagers a place of their own. The goal was to create a landscape that was both more enjoyable and more manageable for a busy family.
